Bucket list

Followers know I have a 'bucket list' which I frequently visit to conquer or complete a task. The tasks range from simple wishes which I long to do to random items, which others may deem unnecessary or even too modest to be on a bucket list - but hey, it's my list! Some items, I am not in control of whether I will successfully complete them. One of the 'impossibles' has happened ... I've been called for jury service! I've waited decades to be called. I kid you not, it was on my bucket list!

I can't and won't be saying anymore about the subject. But that's one less item on my bucket list!

UPDATE: done and dusted ... it was a fascinating experience which I feel privileged to have been called for. Watching the legal system process court cases was an education for me. I won't be including case details in any blogs, so please don't search. On completion, I've had numerous questions from others:

1. Would I do it again? Yes, in a heart beat.
2. Am I switching genre to write crime? Nope.
3. Will I include the crime in a plot? Nope.
4. Was I frightened beforehand of the nature of the case? Nope, the judge tells you prior to jury selection.
5. Would I encourage others to accept jury service? Absolutely.
