I've had a lovely first day with NaNoWriMo. The words have flowed freely and I managed to over run on my intended goal, which is always a bonus. I tend to write in 'scenes' so my mind gets lost in the action and conflict. The end result is not noticing the word count increasing - anything above the standard 1667 necessary words acts as a safety net as the month progresses. You never know what's around the corner once this challenge begins!
The rest of my day will be spent polishing a short story competition piece and musing over the descriptions needed for tomorrow's scene.
Have a great rest of your day!
Note: the slideshow shows each day in order - I'll start a new page each week.
Day 1 - a flying start Day 2 - same as above Day 3 - a late night session Day 4 - 3am writing - I couldn't sleep Day 5 - the words flowed nicely Day 6 - tricky writing sessions squeezed in Day 7 - the words flowed nicely.
