NaNoWriMo - tomorrow!

Yay! NaNoWriMo begins tomorrow - I can't wait! I've been itching to throw myself into this story for a few weeks now. The planning is done, the characters are named, the setting is set ... Lakeside Cottage! My post-it notes are arranged, my writing room decluttered and I am ready!

The golden nugget for this idea literally popped up whilst I was proofreading my current Christmas book. That 'I wonder if...' moment raises its head whenever it wishes, so I've had to nurture the premise while I was finishing my previous book. 

As always, I will stay up tonight to write. I'll be at my desk when the local church clock strikes and away I go. There's something quite magical in writing when the surrounding streets are fast asleep snoozing. Though I won't be alone, I'll be seated beside thousands of other writers each tapping away on their keyboards. I'll probably write until two in the morning - my usual start routine. Then tomorrow take delight in knowing November has arrived - my favourite month of the year to write!
